INSURANCE FACTS:

Does my insurance company cover acupuncture?
It is not which insurance company will or will not cover acupuncture therapy. It is your specific policy that determines if you have acupuncture coverage or not.

May I send you my insurance information before my first visit?
Whether you are a new or existing patient, we would love to check your insurance information.
Please ask for an Insurance Verification Form to be emailed to you, and do one of the following prior to your appointment.

How long until I know whether or not I have coverage?
Once we receive your insurance information, our staff will verify your benefits and you will be informed about the coverage under your plan within 2-3 Business days, but usually sooner.


Are you In Network with my insurance company?
We are an “Out of Network” provider for all PPO insurances.


I have an HMO, Medicare or Medicaid policy. Will it cover acupuncture?
Unfortunately, neither HMO’s nor Medicare/Medicaid covers acupuncture services at this time.
By switching from an HMO to PPO insurance, you are able to see any doctor that you choose and you are not limited to needing referrals.


I was involved in a car accident. Can Acupuncture help me?
YES! Acupuncture is very effective at alleviating pain, spasms and injuries of different parts of the body resulting from car accident. Check with your car insurance company immediately after an accident to see if yours still offers this amazing benefit.
